Description
This book intends to present the churches of Modena’s historic town centre in a new and modern way, by making use of the contribution of experts of the Modena Municipal Museum regarding the artistic and historical aspects. The book is also studded with numerous splendid and enthralling photos by Beppe Zagaglia and with the images made available by the Museum.
The decision to make an easy-to-use publication and in two languages, also aims to capture the tourists in town. It will become a lovely souvenir of the visit and the attached map will provide an itinerary to be followed amongst the churches of the historic centre, which can be analysed in more detail in the text.
The book has also been presented to the Diocese of Modena, which will be the co-promoter and which will edit the introduction, as well as put it on sale in the bookshop of the Museum of the cathedral.
