Description
This volume is made up of two parts. The first one is a historical-artistic study with many pictures that, while sorting through archive documents and inventories, focuses on furnishings and court life in the residences of the House of Este, from the 15th and the 16th centuries to the last years in Modena, in the 17th and the 18th centuries.
The second part presents a photographic collection of noteworthy furnishings from private and public collections from the mid-16th to the mid-19th centuries.
