Description
The Studiolo of the Palazzo Belfiore in Ferrara (1448-1453) is a key starting point for the artistic culture of the Renaissance.
Unfortunately it was severely damaged in 1484, less than fifty years after its construction, during the war led by Venetians against the House of Este. When Ferrara was devolved to the Holy See (1598) it had already been destroyed.
