Description
This volume deals with home furnishings produced in the 17th century, the golden age of Italian furniture.
This period was an unfortunate century from a political point of view, when all the Italian states were cast into poverty by the many disasters that affected the territory. However, from an artistic point of view, there was an amazing renewal, which gave evidence of the undoubted skills of artists and artisans who brought forth a luxurious and ornate style as the Baroque.
The research aimed to highlight the local idiom of the different regions, also paying particular attention to the distinctive vocabulary of different cities.
