The theme is the Roman sculpture of the cities connected by the ancient Via Flaminia, which in 220 BC connected Rome to Rimini, passing through the territory of the Umbri and the Gauls.
The centrepieces of this work are the now famous Gilt Bronzes from Cartoceto di Pergola (second half of the first century BC.). This group is encircled by about thirty bronze and marble works, all of great artistic and historical relevance, mainly images of gods and princes but also of individuals and mythological figures.
