After three centuries of oblivion, the painting of Giuseppe e la moglie di Putifarre is now part of the precious collection in Zanasi Foundation directed by Prof. Stefano Zanasi, who commendably created a very important collection of Baroque paintings, focusing on Emilian School in particular.
The fact that such a historically and artistically interesting work, within the framework of Guercino career, is now available for further research and to the general public is noteworthy and contributes to the progress of studies and knowledge about one of the brightest Baroque artists.
